Introducing a disruptive new banking technology by focussing on its human core
Commonwealth Bank Pi is a human-centric point-of-sale payment system, with a userinterface design that will transform the customer experience forever. Apps like Split the Bill help businesses to add value to an otherwise cold and technocratic money transaction process.
For the logo I developed a clever icon, a wordmark that says Pi while resembling a smiling face. It communicates the key aspects of the service: interaction with a human touch. All Pi communications including a set of app icons are based on the same positive-negative dialogue inherent in the logo while following the basic design parameters of the Commonwealth Bank masterbrand.
