Tim Jones – The Battle
This week, my mate, photographer Tim Jones, opened The Battle at Sun Studios. The crowd was cheerful, the booze was free and the work is simply amazing. I even ended up chipping in and bought one of the artworks: Mimi Leung’s mask is now going to scare my 2-year old (the last image in the set).
“The Battle is an annual exhibition that channels Australia’s love of sport to support important, meaningful work done by select charities and not-for-profits. In 2020 The Battle explores the beauty and dynamism of the enigmatic sport of fencing and is raising money for a cancer hospital, Chris O’Brien Lifehouse.”
